Site management
Sites let you manage stock separately for each independently operated place, such as a warehouse or store. A company always has at least one site, and your day-to-day stock and tasks are recorded against the “currently selected site.”
What is a site
A site is the largest management unit, each holding its own independent inventory. For example, if you make “Tokyo Warehouse” and “Osaka Warehouse” separate sites, you can manage stock levels and inbound/outbound history separately per site even for the same product.
- A company needs at least one site. One site is provided by default.
- Whether you can have multiple sites depends on your current plan (see below).
Difference between a site and a location
- Site: a large unit that holds its own independent inventory. Separate sites you operate independently, such as warehouses and stores.
- Location: a stock field that indicates where within a single site an item is kept (shelf, room, floor and so on).
Example: separate “Tokyo Warehouse” and “Osaka Warehouse” as sites, and separate “Shelf A” and “Shelf B” within them as locations.
What is separated per site vs. shared across all sites
Masters such as products and members are shared across the whole company; only the actual stock is separated per site.
| Separated per site | Shared across all sites (company-wide) |
|---|---|
| Stock (quantity) | Products (product master) |
| Tasks (inbound, outbound, move, adjustment, stocktaking) | Clients |
| Stock alert evaluation | Members & permissions |
| Report totals | Costing method, stock fields, custom fields and other settings |
| Plan & company info |
- Register a product once and you can use the same product across all sites. You don’t need to recreate products per site.
- Stock levels, task history and reports show only those of the selected site.
Switching sites
Stock and task screens always target the “currently selected site.” To work on a different site, switch sites.
- Open “More.”
- Choose Site (the current site name is shown).
- In the Site List, tap the site you want to switch to.
The selected site is checked. After switching, the stock, task and report views change to that site’s data.
Creating and editing a site (admin)
Only an administrator can create, edit and delete sites.
- Open “More” → Site → Site List.
- Add with the + button at the bottom right, or edit with each site’s edit (pencil) icon.
- Enter the details and save.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Site name (required) | The name of the warehouse, store and so on. Also used to confirm deletion. |
| Contact info | Address, phone number and the like (optional). |
| Memo | A free-text note for extra details (optional). |
Deleting a site (admin)
Deleting a site permanently deletes all of that site’s stock data and task data. This cannot be undone.
- The product master is not deleted (other sites and the company-wide products are unaffected).
- To prevent mistakes, deletion requires confirmation by typing the site name.
- The last remaining site cannot be deleted (a company needs at least one site).
If you only want to repurpose a site rather than delete it, you can keep using it by editing its name or memo.
Plans and the site limit
The number of sites you can have is capped by your current plan.
| Plan | Site limit |
|---|---|
| Starter | 1 |
| Business | 3 |
| Premium | 5 |
- To add more sites, you can raise the limit with the “Additional sites” add-on option.
- Check the latest pricing and limits on the Plan screen or the official site. → Company settings & plan
