Managing clients

This page explains registering, editing and deleting clients such as suppliers and customers. Registering clients lets you record the counterparty during inbound/outbound, which helps with later tallying and searching.

Viewing the client list

  • On wide screens, open it from "Clients" in the left menu; on narrow screens, from "More" → "Clients."
  • Registered clients are shown in a list.
  • Use the search box to filter by client name, contact, or memo.

Adding a client

  1. Press "Add."
  2. Enter the following.
    • Client name (required)
    • Contact (phone, person in charge, etc.)
    • Memo (optional)
  3. Save.

Name rule

A client name cannot be duplicated within the company. If the same name exists, you can't register/update it, so use a distinguishable name.

Editing/deleting a client

  • Edit: change it from "Edit" on the detail screen.
  • Delete: do it from "Delete" on the detail screen.
    • Even after deletion, past task records (inbound/outbound with that client) remain.

How it's used in tasks

  • You can select it in the "Client" field when registering an inbound/outbound.
  • A client is not required (you can register with it blank).
  • Adjustment and stocktaking have no client field.

Bulk import via CSV

You can register and update clients in bulk via CSV (for paid plans).

  • Existing clients are matched by client name (update if the same name exists, new if not).
  • Only the selected fields are updated; leaving a field blank deletes that value.

Common messages

  • A client with the same name already exists … That name is already used. Use a different name.
  • Client not found … It was deleted, or doesn't exist. Check the list.
  • A client is required in the CSV … No client name was specified during CSV import.
