Sites

Several warehouses or stores, each of which you want counted separately — that’s what sites are for.

Every company has at least one site. A “Main site” is created when you sign up, so if you operate from one place there’s nothing to set up.

What a site is

The largest unit of separation — each site holds its own stock. Make “Tokyo warehouse” and “Osaka warehouse” separate sites and the same product keeps its own stock count and movement history in each.

Stock and transaction screens always act on the site you currently have selected.

Sites versus locations

  • Site — somewhere you operate independently: a warehouse, a store. Stock is fully separated.
  • Location — where something sits inside a site: a shelf, an area, a cold room.

Separate “Tokyo warehouse” and “Osaka warehouse” as sites, and “Shelf A” and “Shelf B” within them as locations.

Separated versus shared

Master data is shared company-wide; only the actual stock is separated per site.

Separated per site Shared across all sites
Stock (quantities) Products
Transactions (inbound, outbound, move, stocktaking) Clients
Stock alert judgement Members and roles
Report totals Costing method, stock fields, custom fields and other settings
Plan and company information

Register a product once and it’s available at every site. You never recreate products per site.

Switching sites

  1. Open “Other” (on a PC, sites also appear in the left menu once you have two or more).
  2. Choose Site (your current site name is shown).
  3. Tap the site you want from the list.

The selected site is ticked. Switching changes what you see in stock, transactions and reports.

If stock seems to be missing, check the site first. More often than not you’re simply looking at a different one.

Registering and editing (administrators)

  1. Open “Other” → Site → the site list.
  2. Add with the button at the bottom right; edit with the pencil icon on each site.
  3. Fill in the details and save.
Field Description
Site name Required. Also used for the deletion confirmation.
Contact information Address, phone number and so on (optional).
Memo Free notes (optional).

Deleting (administrators)

Deleting a site permanently removes all of that site’s stock and transaction data. It can’t be undone.

  • Product master data isn’t touched. Other sites and the company’s products are unaffected.
  • To prevent accidents, you must type the site name to confirm. Enter it exactly as shown.
  • The last remaining site can’t be deleted (a company always needs one).

If the site is just no longer in use, renaming it is safer than deleting it.

Limits per plan

How many sites you can have depends on your plan.

Plan Site limit

Starter 1
Business 3
Premium 5

To go further, the “Additional site” add-on raises the limit. Check the plan screen for current prices and limits. → Plan

When something goes wrong

  • The site limit has been exceeded … You’ve hit your plan’s limit. Consider upgrading or adding the site add-on.
  • At least one site is required … The last site can’t be deleted.
  • The site name does not match … Type the site name exactly as displayed.
  • Insufficient permission … Registering, editing and deleting sites is for administrators.
